LetsProtect
Our LetsProtect policy has been specifically designed to meet the needs of private landlords who are purchasing self-contained property for investment purposes.
The cover includes buildings insurance, legal protection and an element of contents cover for the landlord’s furniture and other items as well as accidental damage to items such as bathroom fittings, fixed glass and underground services.

Buildings cover
Accidental damage to Buildings - Accidental damage to buildings is included as standard within this cover and includes accidental damage to underground pipes and cables.
Property owner’s liability - Cover is automatically included up to £2 million for your legal liability for accidental death, bodily injury or illness of a person, or damage to property.
Alternative accommodation/ Loss of rent - Up to 30% of buildings sum insured.
Lock replacement - Replacement of locks to external doors following loss or theft of keys up to £1,000.
Landlord's contents cover
Public liability - Up to £2 million.
Limited accidental damage - Accidental breakage of, or damage to mirrors, fixed glass in furniture, ceramic hobs and audio / audio visual equipment.
Landlord’s contents in garages and outbuildings - Up to £1,000.
Rent Guarantee – We can give Landlords peace of mind when it comes to rent payments and tenancy disputes.
Voluntary Excess – This will reduce the cost of the insurance and the client can have different excesses for both the buildings and contents.
Home Assistance Option – provides you with rapid access to an approved network of engineers able to carry out repairs for unforeseen emergencies - available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Family Legal Cover and Employer’s Liability - This extra cover could potentially save the Landlord money, as they would not have to take out separate policies.
